Jane Reaves Sharpe

Jane Reaves Sharpe, 66 of Pine Mountain, GA died Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Columbus Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service was held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Midway Baptist Church, Pine Mountain, GA. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Sharpe was born December 9, 1946 in Eufaula, AL, daughter of Doris Hart Reaves Pridgeon of Pine Mountain, GA. and the late Hamp D. Reaves. She graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA. She retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Registered Nurse. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
Other than her father she was preceded in death by her sister, Nina Sue Reaves Watson.
Other than her mother she is survived by her husband of 46 years, Fred Sharpe of Pine Mountain, GA; daughters, Sally McNamee and husband Greg of Cary, NC and Jenny Fetterolf and husband Daniel of Taylors, SC; grandchildren, Meredith, Lucy and Ellie McNamee and Adam, Rachel and Reid Fetterolf.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. John Pawloski, the Medical Center 7th Floor Main nurses and staff and the 8th Floor ICU.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the Midway Baptist Church Growth Fund, 2495 Hopewell Church Road, Pine Mountain, GA 31822.
