Jana Gene Capan, 62, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Piedmont Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Evangel Temple with Pastor Paul Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Jana was born October 14, 1960 in Ft. Benning, GA to the late Gary Chapman and Laura Elizabeth Gantt Chapman. She was a faithful member of Evangel Temple. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Wright and grandson, Jensen Lee Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Capan of Columbus, GA, daughter, Alexa Capan-Brown (Aaron) of Bossier City, LA, sisters, Terri Lightmas (Frank) of Atlanta, GA, Candi Poore of Danielsville, GA, Penni Cook of Vinings, GA, grandchildren, Grayson Capan, Korbyn Rickerson and Jameson Brown.
