James “Neal” Boyd, 70, of Fortson, GA died Monday August 22, 2022 at Columbus Hospice House.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 25, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
James was born May 26, 1952 in Lagrange, GA to the late James Boyd and Orlene Boyd. He worked at Pound Construction for 15 years as a construction superintendent/ project manager and absolutely loved working with his “work family”. He had a passion for showing and riding horses, loved cutting the grass, his dog Mac but especially loved spending time with his family.
James is survived by his wife, Teri Boyd of Fortson, GA, daughter, Amy Baker (Dominic Fielder) of Fortson, GA, grandchildren, Taylor Baker of Fortson, GA, Lane Baker of Fortson, GA, brother, Kenneth Boyd of Valley, AL, and numerous other family members.
