James "Jimmy" Frederick Miller, Sr.

James “Jimmy” Frederick Miller, Sr., 74, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Columbus Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Pine Mountain United Methodist Church, 206 McDougald Ave, Pine Mountain, GA 31822.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 25, 1947 to Roy W. Miller and Nora F. Miller who preceded him in death. He was married to Bonnie “Bebe” Dickens Miller for 56 years.
He attended Columbus High School before being drafted into the Army, where he served as an MP from 1966-1968, then retired after 40 years as a lineman with AT&T. He was a proud member of Pine Mountain United Methodist Church and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. He will be missed all the days of our lives.
He is survived by his wife, as well as his children, James F. Miller, Jr. and Amy M. Phifer (Eric Phifer), three grandchildren, James F. Miller, III, Olivia N. Miller, and Daniel C. Miller, and one great-grandchild, Gracie Kate Miller.
