James E. Smith "Paw Paw", 91, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Orchard View Rehabilitation Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the home of Joe and Lisa Barker.
Mr. Smith was born September 10, 1927 in Holly Pond, AL son of the late Olin Watson Smith and Martha E. Shelton. He retired as a produce vendor and enjoyed spending time with his family and watching golf. Mr. Smith was also an avid Alabama fan.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Belle Smith.
He is survived by his loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Orchard View Rehabilitation Center or to a charity of your choice.
