James Robin "Robbie" Shiver

James Robin “ Robbie” Shiver, 60 of Columbus, Georgia died Sunday, May 9, 2021 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory

Chapel  with Rev. Billy Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA. 31907.

Robbie was born January 31, 1961 in Columbus Georgia to Raymond Oliver Shiver Sr., and Elizabeth Frank Shiver Boland. Robbie had a small engines associate’s degree and worked with ACE Hardware for over 20 years. He loved to fish and camp, but his passion was woodworking. He thoroughly enjoyed building bird houses and shelves and often sold them to those with his same interest. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Other than his parents, Robbie was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Oliver Shiver, Jr. and a nephew Josh Allen.

Survivors include sisters, Linda Randall and Bonnie Shiver of Columbus, GA., and Kathy Allen (Gary) of Midland, GA., niece; Tammy Renda (John), of Maryland, nephews; Jason Randall ( Melissa ) of Tennessee,  Zack Allen ( Samantha) of Columbus, GA., and eight great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Beallwood Baptist Church Building Fund, 4650 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA. 31904.
