James Albert Griggs, 85, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Evangel Temple Assembly of God 5350 Veterans Parkway Columbus, GA 31904 with Reverend Watson McKemie, Mr. John Wells, Reverend Joe Phillips, and Reverend Paul Thomas officiating. The following will serve as active pallbearers; Mr. Mike Dehner, Mr. Sonny Clements, Mr. Jim Patrick, Mr. Leonard Gray, Mr. Kenny Taft, Mr. Doug Pullen, Mr. Paul Cash, and Mr. Steve McCain. Interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Saturday from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
