James "Jim" Marvin Henley, 75, of Columbus, GA. died March 12, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, March 17,2020 at Edgewood Baptist Church, 3564 Forrest Rd, Columbus, GA 31907, with Andy Johnston officiating. A private interment will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery in Albany, GA. The family will receive friends Tuesday 10:00-11:00AM at the church.
James was born September 7, 1944 in St. Petersburg, FL. to the late Edward Neese Henley and Eleanor Tyler Henley. He had a Specialist degree and worked as a Media Specialist for the Harris County School System.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Payne Henley.
He is survived by his son, Britton Henley of Columbus GA, sister, Amy Henley Moran of Pleasant Hill NC, nieces, Ashley Moran of Philly PA, Lindsay Elkins ( Brian) of Lakeland TN, great-nephews, Henry Elkins of Lakeland TN, George Elkins of Lakeland TN. and Arthur Elkins of Lakeland TN.
