James L. Hayes, 82, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Columbus Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday August 10, 2013 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Cottonwood, AL with Reverend Bill Hayes officiating. According to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Hayes was born May 15, 1931 in Hartselle, AL son of the late Seaborn and Pastoria Meadows Hayes. He was a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Lorie James of Columbus, GA, brother, Bill Hayes (Bonnie) of Hartselle, AL, and several nieces and nephews.
