James Howland Dresslar, 60 of Phenix City, AL. died Sept. 26, 2009 at Vista Care Hospice.
Memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. David Howle officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Dresslar was born on Feb. 25, 1949, son of the late Oscar Howland Dresslar and the late Frances Armistead Dresslar. He was retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield and he was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Gail Dresslar of Phenix City, AL., two step-children Laura Strickland of Columbus, GA. and Charles Cole Jenkins of Phenix City, AL., a sister Allina D. Strickland of Columbus, GA., two grandchildren, Shelby-Cole Simmons and Ethan A. Duey both of Phenix City, AL. and a niece Katie Strickland of Middleburg, VA.
