James "Jerry" H. Cameron, Jr., died on March 10, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryan Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home at 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mr. Cameron was born on November 30, 1939 in Knoxville, Tennessee, son of the late James H. Cameron, Sr and Mildred Ryan Cameron. He served in the US Navy and was a self-employed salesman in wholesale distribution and was a member of Fellowship Church in Manchester, GA.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lynn Hunt Cameron; daughter, Sonja Cameron Foster (Chuck)of Covington, Ga.; two sons, Scott Allen Cameron (Lori) of Fairview, N.C. and Todd Bennett (Beth) of Auburn, AL; sister Pam Cameron of Johnson City, TN; four grandchildren, Sally and Sydney Cameron and Nova and Wren Bennett.
