James Hoyt Bragg, Sr., 80, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, May 14, 2023 at his residence.

James was born December 23, 1942 in Columbus, GA to the late Mortain Hoyt Bragg and Edna Head Bragg. He worked at Westrock Paper Mill for over 50 years and retired as a scaler, weighing log trucks. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Bragg, and grandson, Zachary Dylan Bragg.
He is survived by his sons, James Hoyt Bragg, Jr. (Darcy) of Columbus, GA, Timothy Bragg of Columbus, GA, granddaughters, Ashley Lauren Bragg of San Antonio, TX, Brittany Paige Bragg of Burnsville, NC, great-grandchildren, Amari Romina Bragg, Theodore Wyatt McClain and Milo Harrison McClain.
