James Earl Boyett, Jr., 54, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Duncan officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Boyett was born February 23, 1957 in Columbus, GA son of James Earl, Sr. and Mary Carolyn Yon Boyett of Columbus, GA. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked as a welder for Industrial Tradesman. He loved the outdoors, but his passion was bass fishing.
Survivors other than his parents include his two sisters, Debra L. Brown (Robert) of Athens, GA and Teresa R. Brusick (Chris) of Peoria, IL, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
