James Warren Abraham, affectionately known as “Abe”, 76, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital. Abe was a cherished husband, father, brother, and Gramps.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
James was born Sunday, August 17, 1947 in Waseca, MN to the late Warren G. and Marjorie Linde Abraham. He was a distinguished veteran after serving 24 honorable years in the United States Army and Navy. Abe was an avid sports fan, especially basketball's “March Madness”. He was a clicker of the remote, ensuring to watch all the sports in just one sitting.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Abraham; daughters, Tina Johnson (Aaron), Denise Bartlett, Tori Abraham, and Christie Cooper (James); grandchildren, Morgan Summers, Zach Summers, Christian Cooper, Gerad Bartlett, Connor Cooper, Eli Johnson; great granddaughter, Makenna Cox “Sweetie”; sister, Judy Thornton (Jerry) and brother, Jerry Abraham.
