Jacquelyn (Lynn) Nell Langley

Jacquelyn (Lynn) Nell Langley, 65 of Columbus died Saturday September 21, 2024 at her residence. Lynn was born August 10, 1959 in Columbus, GA to William “Bill” D. Langley and the late Georgia Langley Brown.
Lynn was a loving, generous and creative woman with a brilliant mind. There wasn’t a home project she couldn’t fix or a fish she couldn’t hook. She cared deeply for her friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand. When her mother, Georgia was battling cancer, Lynn dropped everything and moved from Montgomery to Columbus to be her caregiver. Lynn believed that anything she had was to be shared. She practiced that belief throughout her life. Lynn was devoted to her many animals over the years. Among the pets she nurtured were dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs and horses. Lynn was always eager to take care of something or somebody. She will be deeply missed by the many people who loved her.
She is survived by father, her sister: Leigh Langley Davis (Rece) of Avon, CT, her brother: Bobby Maughon (Dianne) of Houston, TX, nieces, Elizabeth Davis of New York City, NY and Lauren Maughon of Houston, TX, nephews, Christopher Davis of Avon, CT and Andrew Maughon of Houston TX.
Her family will hold a Celebration of Her Life at a later date.
