Jacqueline Peck Alford, 93, of Columbus, GA died Monday, November 2, 2015 at Gentiva Hospice.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Father Nicholas Hull officiating. A private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Alford was born March 22, 1922 in Savannah, GA daughter of the late Warren and Jessie Wallace Peck. She retired from Sears and Robbuck in the credit department and was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrel Jason Alford, sisters, Jessie Hudson and Eleanor Stewart, brothers, John Peck and Warren Peck and son-in-law, Charles Pridgeon.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynn Alford Pridgeon; son, Richard Alford (Julia) all of Columbus, Ga., 4 grandchildren; John Jenkins, Jason Alford (Kelli), Christy Scrivner (Derek), Nicole Watson (Matt); and great- grandchildren, Chris Scrivner, Kate Scrivner, Matthew Scrivner and Eli Scroggins and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to Trinity Episcopal Church P.O. Box 1146 Columbus, Georgia 31902.
