Jacky F. Rolison, 70, of Fortson, GA died Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Kindred Hospice.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Brad Parker and Mrs. Kathy Kilgore officiating. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Rolison was born February 13, 1948 in Eufaula, AL son of the late Glen and Myrtle Pierce Rolison. He retired with over 30 years of service as a telecommunications technician with Lucent Technologies. Mr. Rolison enjoyed fishing, singing, working on lawnmowers, playing the guitar and listening to traditional country and gospel music. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and he loved the Lord and was Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy Rolison of Fortson, GA, children, Christopher Rolison (Susan) and Travis Rolison (Jennie), sister, Patsy Chevalier (Rene), brothers, Wayne Rolison (Sylvia) and Jimmy Rolison (Kathy), 3 grandchildren, Benjamin and Haley Rolison and Jeffrey Neel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
