Jack Curtis McCoy, Jr., 66, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 5, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Jack was born August 6, 1952 in Columbus, GA son of Faye Burns McCoy of Columbus, GA and the late Jack Curtis McCoy, Sr. He retired as a Captain from the Columbus Police Department after 31 years. He received his master's degree from Troy University and taught at Perdue Global and also worked as a consultant for the University of Georgia. Mr. Jack loved fishing in Florida.
Survivors other than his mother include his wife, Lisa Roberts McCoy of Columbus, GA, children, Jonathan McCoy (Angel) of Columbus, GA, Joshua McCoy (Antonia) of Woodstock, GA, Jack Curtis McCoy, III of California and Amanda Leslie of Hampton, IL, sister, Susan McCoy Wood (Zach) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Gabe McCoy, Savannah McCoy and Lilly McCoy all of Columbus, GA, nephews, Andy Brundage (Crystal), Jake Wood and Jaxson Wood, niece, Kathryn Wood, and great nephew, Ephraim Brundage.
