Irma Marie Van Noy

Irma Marie Van Noy, 89, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House.

Private funeral services will be held Friday April 23, 2021 at Pierce Chapel Church in Columbus, GA with Rev. Howard White according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 facemasks and social distancing will be required during the service.

Irma was born December 8, 1931 in Aschaffenburg, Germany to the late George Zimmermann and Julia Loefel Zimmermann. She loved to garden, cook, take walks, knit and sew. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William T. Van Noy and her son, William C. Van Noy.

She is survived by her children, Wilma Waltrup (Carl) of Glen Burnie, MD, Doris Carignan (Jim) of Helen, GA, Fred Van Noy (Debi) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Todd Davidson, Tiffany Stevens, Tammy Muir, Brain Waltrup, Brad Van Noy, Kyle Van Noy and 11 great-grandchildren.
