Mrs. Ingeborg B. (Markner) Harris 76 of Columbus, GA passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM EST Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory; 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Ms. Harris was born May 3, 1940 in Schweinfurt, Germany. She was a prep cook at West Central Hospital. Ms. Harris was a hard worker who enjoyed collecting pigs and loved by so many. She touched so many hearts and was a inspiration to all.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband (Ret) Sergeant First Class Frank D. Harris.
Survivors include her children; Hilmar A. Harris (Lisa) of Lexington, SC. Rainer E. Harris (Susan) of Columbus, GA. Connie Harris of Columbus, Ga, and Charles L. Harris of Lexington, SC. Eight grandchildren; Frank, Brittnee, Christine, Charles Jr., Victoria, Taylor, Jamie and Scott. Three great grandchildren; Delaney, Boston and Arden.
