Ingeborg Erna Everly, 90, of Columbus, GA died peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Friday, October 30, 2015. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Theresa Smith officiating. Family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Everly was born July 9, 1925 in Scheidermeuhle, Germany to the late Bruno and Erna Schudrowitz. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed working with the children of Columbus at the Parks and Recreation Department. She especially loved her time spent working the concession stand at Flat Rock Park.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Clarence Albert Everly, Sr., daughter, Marian R. Patrick, grandson, Christopher Wade Everly, and brother, Hans Schudrowitz.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Tate (James) of Columbus, GA and Patricia J. Medina (Eugene) of Sheffield Lake, OH, sons, Robert Lee Everly (Diane) of Columbus, GA, Clarence Everly, Jr. (Lanette) of Helendale, CA and David B. Everly of Phenix City, AL, sisters, Ortrud Stadnik and Hanni Schepps both of Germany, several grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
