Infant Russell James Greer was called to be with the Lord on August 5, 2012 at the Medical Center in Columbus, GA. Precious "RJ" was a true gift, a little angel from God, that was taken from us too soon, but will live in our hearts forever and always.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday August 9, 2012 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Murphy officiating. The Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Stapler and David Gibbons according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
He was the son of William Calvin Greer, III and Crystie Hicks Greer of Upatoi, GA.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Lillian and Felix Richardson, paternal great grandfather, Roy Hicks, paternal great grandmother, Mary Russell Greer, and maternal great grandparents, Edward and Louise Dudley.
Survivors include his parents, William and Crystie Greer of Upatoi, GA, maternal grandparents, Leigh and James Hicks of Dothan, AL, paternal grandparents, William Calvin Greer, Jr. and Lynn Greer of Midland, GA, paternal great grandfather, William Calvin Greer, Sr. of Midland, GA, maternal great grandmother, Sybil Hicks of Hartford, AL, aunts, Denise Greer McClary (Kyle) of Smiths Station, AL and Doan Lee (Blake) of Cataula, GA, and many great aunts, uncles, cousins and countless family friends.
