Inez Capps Johnson

Inez Capps Johnson, 84, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, November 6, 2009 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roy White and Reverend Dan MacMinn officiating. The family will receive friends Friday 1 to 2 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Johnson was born January 8, 1925 in Geneva Co., AL daughter of the late Arthur Grady Capps and Leila Hendrix Capps. She was the widow of the late Raymond Gregory Johnson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Johnson was retired from Columbus Regional Medical Center where she worked for twenty five years. She was a member of Edgewood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Raymond Gregory Johnson, Jr. (Melinda) of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren, Russell Gregory Johnson and Mendi Johnson Conner (Jeremy), great grandchildren, Riordan Gregory Johnson, Drew Henry Conner, and Max Robert Conner, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special nieces, Pam Bell, JoAnn Shavers, and Sue Cannon.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Columbus Hospice House.
