Phenix City, AL - Ina W. Riddle, 94 of Phenix City, AL died Wednesday, January 21, 2010 at Vista Care Hospice at Franciscan Woods.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, January 25, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Alan Griffith officiating. the following will serve as pallbearers Owen Veasey, Lester Thornton, Don Ivey, Tom Smith, Bobby Flinn and Charles Carr. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 till 5 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St. Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Riddle was born August 28, 1915 in Phenix City, Alabama, daughter of the late Lizzie Leigh Rutledge Williams and William Crawford Williams. She worked at Eagle & Phenix Mills for 44 years. She was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Rose of Sharon Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband James Cecil Riddle, Sr., who was the retired District Chief of the Phenix City Fire Department.
Survivors include her daughter Peggy R. Lloyd (Clifford) of Phenix City, AL; sons James Cecil Riddle, Jr. (Frances) of Columbus, GA, John Larry Riddle and Charles Lee Riddle (Sandra) all of Phenix City, AL; twenty grandchildren, thirty nine great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
