1st SGT (Ret.) Michael T. Linehan, 72, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at his home.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery with Reverend Dan MacMinn officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
1st SGT (Ret.) Linehan was born June 23, 1939 in Boston, MA. He was a retired 1st SGT in the U. S. Army having served in Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict with two tours of service. He had worked as a lab technician at Columbus Foundries for 21 years.
Survivors include his wife, Helga Wilhelm Linehan of Columbus, GA, daughters, Lorena Linehan Cornell and Nancy Linehan Watson both of Columbus, GA and Heidi Linehan Cox (John) of Williamson, GA, and grandchildren, Michael & Kaila Watson, Chris Cornell and Abby and Anna Grace Cox.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project Fund at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
