Ima Grace Simpson

Mrs. Ima Grace Simpson, 87, of Cusseta, GA was called home on January 28, 2022 at her residence.
A private celebration of her life will be held February 2, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held 2:00 PM February 3, 2022 at Andersonville National Cemetery.
Ima was born October 14, 1934 in Yoakum, TX to the late Charles Samuel Reed and Thema Goode Reed and has lived in Cusseta, GA since 1979.
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Simpson, and daughter Donna.
Ima is survived by daughters, Velda Simpson of Lakeland, Florida, Margie Simpson of Cusseta, GA, and Sharon Orozco of Albuquerque, NM, sons, Steven Simpson and Patrick Simpson both of Cusseta, GA, many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the John B. Amos Cancer Center in Columbus, Georgia.
