Ila J. Wyrick, 69, of Mauk, GA died Monday, January 30, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at New Vision Christian Ministries 8132 GA-85 Waverly Hall, GA 31831 with Rev. Glenn Presley officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Paran Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Wyrick was born April 8, 1947 in Talbotton, GA daughter of the late Dudley W. and Louise Phillips Greer. She was a homemaker and loved to play cards, games and cooking. She was a member of New Vision Christian Ministries in Waverly Hall. Mrs. Wyrick loved her church and loved people.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Peggy Greer and son, Andrew Jackson Wyrick.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Curtis "Jack" Wyrick of Mauk, GA, daughter, Julia "Michelle" Bell (Shannon) of Mauk, GA, son, Joseph Michael "Mike" Wyrick of Columbus, GA, sister, Barbara Cotton (Tommy) of Cottonton, AL, brother, Edwin "Ed" Phillips (Marion) of Orlando, FL, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
