Hyo Yi Nixon, 88, of Columbus, GA died Friday, November 20, 2015 at Garnet Hill Nursing Home in Wylie, TX.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Nixon was born April 5, 1927 in Korea daughter of the late To-Su-Yi and Chong Tu Han. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Nixon.
Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie Nixon (Marcus) of Wylie, TX, brother, Byung Ho Lee of Korea, sister, Ho Soon Lee of Korea, three grandchildren, Jasmin Nixon, Mya Jones and Jasmine Walton, two great grandchildren, Kaiden and Jase, and numerous nieces and nephews.
