Huey Vester Milner, 92, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Parkhill Cemetery with Pastor Bobby John Stevens officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Huey was born September 25, 1932 in Pontotoc, MS to the late Charlie D. Milner and Willie Mae Lee Milner. Huey retired from Bibb Mills and Kemet Corp. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, working in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Kathryn Milner, siblings, Luther Milner, Zula Kennedy, Elizabeth Johnson, Lewis Milner, Lucille Milner, Ader Morgan, Alfred Milner, JD Milner and CD Milner.
He is survived by his children, Debra Milner of Columbus, GA, Rodney Milner (Georgette) of Hamilton, GA, grandchildren, Kristi Lafortune (Nathan) of Fortson, GA, Heather Ellison (Michael) of Midland, GA, Joey Heath (Carollynn) of Buena Vista, GA, Justin Heath (Julie) of Midland, GA, great-grandchildren, Charity, Madalyn, Luke, Jacob, Reese, Tripp, Jackson, Caelum and sister, Alene Lee.
