Horace Jerry Swanger, 60, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at The Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 19, 2011 at Columbus Revival Center 2517 2nd Ave. Columbus, GA with Reverend Gene Garner officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Swanger was born February 19, 1951 in Columbus, GA son of the late Horace and Mary Alice Herring Swanger. He worked as a Carpenter.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Rose Brown Swanger.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Wayne Swanger (Chasity Sanders) of Box Springs, GA, daughter, Lola Jeanine Hagemeyer of Valdosta, GA, brothers, Wayne Swanger of Box Springs, GA and Wiley Herring of Columbus, GA, sisters, Sheila Cook (Robert) of Columbus, GA and Brenda Rodgers of Columbus, GA, and grandchildren, Savannah Rose Swanger, Paul Courtney Pratt, Jr., Christopher Lee Pratt, Tony Eugene Swanger, and Marshall Horace Swanger.
