Homer Ira Lockhart, 77, of Columbus, GA died Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Crawford United Methodist Church 4504 US Highway 80 W. Crawford, AL 36874 with Rev. Mike Koger officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery in Salem, AL. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Lockhart was born October 21, 1942 in Phenix City, AL son of the late George D. and Helen Broadwater Lockhart. He owned Merrit Utility Contractor and was a member of Crawford United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his sister, Dianne Lockhart Pope (Marvin), brother, Phillip Lockhart (Rhonda) all of Phenix City, AL, nephews, Christopher Lockhart (Stephanie) and Justin Lockhart, niece, Dana Eiland (Joey), great-nephews, Jarred Eiland (Lindsey) and Trevor Eiland (Brieanne), and 1 great-niece, Reagan Eiland.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial donations to Crawford UMC.
