Homer Avant Davis, 77, of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Riverdale Cemetery with Reverend Francis Turner officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM at McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Davis was born January 31, 1933 in Columbus, GA son of the late Robert Thomas Davis and Mary Avant Davis. He worked as a District Sales Manager for the Chamberlian Group, Inc. Mr. Davis served as City Clerk for the City of Columbus for ten years and was the City Manager in Griffin, GA. He was also in Professional Sales for over 30 years.
