Hollie B. Talley Sr., 88, of Columbus, GA passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019.
Graveside Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, December 30, 2019 at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Road Columbus, GA 31907, with Pastor Judy Hay officiating.
Mr. Talley was born February 23, 1931 in Franklin, GA to the late Andrew Jackson Talley and Carrie Noles Talley. Mr. Talley worked as the Department Manager for Columbus Mills for 30 years. He was in the U.S. Army and served in Korea. Mr. Talley had many hobbies including hunting, fishing, and small engine repair. He was a member of Striplin Terrace United Methodist Church.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Pruitt Talley and his brother Hanley Talley.
Survivors include; two daughters, Pat Talley Chapman (Rick) of Snow Hill MD, Suzette Rucker (Lance) of Lawrenceville, GA, son, Bruce Talley Jr,. of Smiths, AL, brother, Horace Talley of Bowdon, GA, sisters, Hazel Bruton of Carrollton, GA, Joan Couch (Ed) of Atlanta, GA, Margie Milam of Carrollton, GA, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
