Holger Georg Schneeberger, 73, of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House.
A memorial service will be held at a later date according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Schneeberger was born October 31, 1942 in Ludwigshafen, Germany son of the late Jakob Miller Schneeberger and Emma N'ee Zercher Schneeberger. He retired from Goldens Foundry as a Machinist and Quality Control Supervisor. Mr. Schneeberger enjoyed college football, was a NASCAR fan, and was a Corvette enthusiast.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy Dorris (Mark) of Fortson, GA, sons, Johnny Schneeberger (Shirley) of Kingsland, GA, Steve Schneeberger of Columbus, GA and Brian Schneeberger (Christy) of Fortson, GA, 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
