Hilton "Lamar" Roberts, 63, of Gainesville, GA died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Embracing Hospice in Cumming, GA.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Bolin officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Roberts was born December 9, 1949 in Columbus, GA son of Maryann Byrd Roberts of Fortson, GA and the late Hilton Roberts. He worked as an Electrician for IBEW.
Survivors other than his mother include his sisters, Rhonda Bolin (Roger) of Phenix City, AL and Terry Crandall of Columbus, GA, brother, Donnie Roberts of Fortson, GA, numerous nieces and nephews, and three dogs, Bogie, Murphy Brown and Daisy.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Embracing Hospice Foundation 5775 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. Suite #580 Atlanta, GA 30342 or Cascade Hills "Whatever it Takes Fund".
