Hildegard E. Gordon, 91, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at The Haven of
Columbus.
A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am EST Wednesday November 13, 2024 at Ft. Mitchell National
Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA
31907.
Hildegard Gordon was born June 20, 1933 in Germany to Maria Betting Freund and Johann Martin Freund. She
loved celebrating her German culture during every Oktoberfest. Hildegard enjoyed gardening and
adored dogs.
In addition to her parents, Hildegard is predeceased in death by her husband, Jessie Gordon, and her
grandson, Daniel Hurst.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hurst (Wesley) of Phenix City, AL and Monika Judah (Ron) of
Richmond, VA; son, Jeffery Lowe of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Amanda Hilburn (Jerry) of Phenix City,
AL, Matthew Hurst of Phenix City, AL, Eric Paul Judah of Richmond, VA, Tamra Woods Judah of
Columbus, GA, Christopher Lowe, of Columbus, GA; Great-grandchildren Jaxson, Brantley (Her Sunshine)
Braylen , Ella, Natalie, Haley, Katelyn, and many more family and friends she loved throughout her life.
