Helen L. Bunting, 88, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at her daughter, Glenda's home in McDonough, GA.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 9, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 AM Friday, November 9, 2018 with Dr. Derrick Keeter officiating. A private family interment will be held at Linwood Cemetery.
Ms. Bunting was born June 20, 1930 in Midland, GA daughter of the late Roy Lee Williams and Annie Louise Whitten Williams. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bunting, sister, Louise Woodall, and brothers, Robert Williams, Roderick Williams, Jimmy Williams and Marvin Williams.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Goetting (Clarke) of McDonough, GA, Kathy Large of Columbus, GA and Debbie Carver (Carl) of Acworth, GA, sister, Barbara Stover of Jackson, MS, grandchildren, Eddie White (Shea) of Warner Robins, GA, Amie Walsh of Columbus, GA, Samantha Darrah of Clarksville, TN and Erica Pickett (Derek) of Kennesaw, GA, 10 great-grandchildren, Tristan, Rebekah, Bradley, Heather, Haven, Hannah, Phoenix, Rachel, Kaeli and Lindsey, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Bridgeway Hospice 200 Business Center Dr. #204 Stockbridge, GA 30281.
