Heath Allen Davis

Heath Allen Davis 46, of Columbus, Georgia died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, December 21, 2020 in Parkhill Cemetery with Mr. Jerry Scarborough officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, Ga. 31907.

The services will be able to be viewed live for those who are unable to attend the services beginning 3:00 PM Monday at www.mcmullenfuneralhome.com In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, facemasks and social distancing are recommended for those attending the services.

Heath was born September 16, 1974 in Columbus, Georgia son of Betty H. Davis of Columbus, Georgia and the late Allen Thomas “Tommy” Davis, Jr. Heath was president of Davis Electrical Service and Contracting Company, Inc. and was the 1993 graduate of Columbus High School. At Columbus, Heath was a member of the Columbus High Baseball team and received two State Championships rings. After high school, Heath advanced his baseball career playing two years for Central Alabama in Alexander City, Al. on a scholarship and then received a scholarship to the University of Alabama where he graduated in 1998. At Alabama, Heath was a member of the Crimson Tide Baseball team that made two appearances in the NCAA World Series. He also enjoyed playing golf and riding scooters with his daughter Jadyn.

Survivors include his mother Betty Howard Davis, his wife, Brittany Anderson Davis, his daughter, Jadyn Davis, his brother, Brian Davis (Mary) all of Columbus, Georgia. Heath is also survived by his mother and father- in -law Thomas and Terri Anderson of Columbus, Georgia.
