Harry Kelvin Crain

Harry Kelvin Crain, 70, of Midland, GA died Friday, June 16, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 20, 2023 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Darrell Johns officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, June 19, 2023 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Per the family’s request please do not wear black to the services, Harry wanted everyone to wear bright colors and celebrate his life.

Harry was born December 23, 1952 to the late Leonard David Crain, Sr. and Gwendolyn Garrett Crain. He medically retired as the maintenance supervisor at AFLAC after 19 years. He loved life, spending time with his family, watching the Atlanta Braves, fishing, golfing and going to the beach; he said salt water was in his blood. He was the most positive person you could ever meet.

Other than his father he is preceded in death by his brother Ricky Crain.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lowry Crain of Midland, GA, children, Tricia Boetz (TJ) of Columbus, GA, Krista Miller of Midland, GA, grandchildren, Taylor Jo Pittman (Morgan) of Grantville, GA, Keegan Miller of Midland, GA, great grandchildren, Oaklynn Rae Pittman and Olivia Pittman, mother, Gwendolyn Garrett Crain of Columbus, GA, siblings, Larry Crain (Lucille) of Columbus, GA, Leonard Crain, Jr. (Brenda) of Columbus, GA, Linda Riley (Don) of Phenix City, AL, Michael Crain (Judy) of Columbus, GA, Theresa Starns (Greg) of Columbus, GA, Gwen Pigg (Ronny) of Columbus, GA, Carol Noell of Columbus, GA, Dan Crain (Janice) of Columbus, GA, loving brothers and sisters -in-law, numerous of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
