Harold Wayne Shepperd

Harold Wayne Shepperd, 65, of Midland, GA died Sunday, February 6, 2011 at The Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Howle officiating. A private interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Shepperd was born August 15, 1945 in Columbus, GA son of the late Bennie and Jessie Gertrude White Shepperd. He retired from the Columbus Police Department after 32 years of service and was a Baptist by faith.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ben and Raymond Shepperd and mother-in-law, Lucille W. Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Wilson Shepperd of Midland, GA, two daughters, Renee Shepperd Holt (William "Beaver") of Hamilton, GA and Stephanie Shepperd Sparks (Lavon) of Phenix City, AL, two sisters, Marie Allen of Phenix City, AL and Pearl Kemp (Charlie) of Columbus, GA, grandchilden, Ryan Hays, Anna Sparks, Jade Holt, Coulten Holt and Kaysen Holt, sisters-in-law, Lillian Shepperd of Columbus, GA and Joy Shepperd of Marietta, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Medical Center 6th floor main.
