Harold James Nichols, 87, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, November 4, 2018 at his home.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Nichols was born July 7, 1931 in East Smithfield, PA son of the late Everett Nichols and Nellie Lewis Nichols. He was a photographer with IBM. He traveled a lot with his wife and family and enjoyed gambling, especially Blackjack, bowling and shuffle board. Mr. Nichols also loved the LA Angels and his pets.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Betty Rymell Nichols of Phenix City, AL, children, Mike Nichols (Laurel), Cindy Sprouse, Penny Bowman and Theresa Nichols, 6 grandchildren, Chris, Derrick, James, Contessa, Sara and Ryan, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
