Gwen Elizabeth (Foster) Thomas

Gwen Elizabeth Foster Thomas, 69, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, May 23, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Alan Barrett officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery.

Gwen was born September 16, 1951 in Columbus, GA to the late John Lovic “JL” Foster and Mildred Scarbrough Foster of Columbus, GA. She was known as a social butterfly because she was a people person and loved to help everyone! Other than her father she is preceded in death by her husband Larry Thomas and brother, Rance Foster.

She is survived by her mother, sister, Sheila Robertson of Columbus, GA, brothers, Johnny Foster of Midland, GA, Mark Foster (Lynda) of Ellerslie, GA, sister-in-law, Judy Foster of Fortson, GA and many nieces and nephews.
