Gregory Anthony Longo 71, of Columbus, Georgia formally of Philadelphia, PA, died Friday, January 29, 2021 at his residence in Columbus, Georgia
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, February 04, 2021 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church 500 River Knoll Way, Columbus, Georgia 31904 with Rev. Jonathan Norton officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church. Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we encourage everyone to make the best decisions to remain safe. If anyone wishes to attend the funeral service, please remember to remain 6 feet apart from those not in your household and wear personal protective equipment.
Mr. Longo was born January 5, 1950 in Wilkes-Barre, PA., late parents of Anthony J. and Ruth M. (Thomas) Longo, the late Mary Ruth Gabor (Ron). He retired as a Medical Technician and was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam Conflict.
Survivors include his daughter, Jacki Dansby and her husband Brian of Hamilton, Georgia, Sister Toni Longo, ASC, sister Tina Melissen (Leo), grandchildren, Briceson Dansby and Annalisa Dansby. He is also survived by numerous other family members.
