Gracía "Lucy" Camacho Algarin, 89, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday August 24, 2016 at Manor Place Assisted Living Facility.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday August 30, 2016 at the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, with Reverend James Albrecht officiating. A rosary will be said 3:00 PM Saturday August 27, 2016 at the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, with Father Jeremiah McCarthy officiating. The visitation will follow the rosary until 5:00 PM.
Mrs. Algarin was born August 15, 1927 to the late Manuel Camacho and Julia Cintrone Camacho. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, SFC (Ret) Carlos Feliciano Algarin, her parents, and daughters, Vilma Tejada and Aliah Diana De Algarin.
Survivors include her children, Nilsa Evelyn Shell (Cricket) of El Paso, TX, Carlos Camacho Algarin (Deborah) of Cataula, GA, Lucy Camacho Algarin (Fiancé Glenn Thomas) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Tiffany Algarin Bowers (Eric), Brooke Eldridge (Jeff), Victor Algarin (Elizabeth), Alison Joy Algarin, Carlos Shell (Cecilia), Bert Shell (Rebecca), Thomas Shell, Gladys Devales (Bernandino), Denise Marie Lynch (Colm), Christopher David Cushman, George H. Cushman V (Melissa), and many great grandchildren.
