Grace C. Parker Harden, 92, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 31, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Prather officiating. A private interment will be held at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Lee County, AL. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Harden was born October 6, 1920 in Atlanta, GA daughter of the late Dan P. and Roy Bell Gilbert Corley. She retired after 37 years as a Spinner for Swift Mills and was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James R. Parker and her second husband, William S. Harden.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruby Parker Whitler and son-in-law, Robert, of Columbus, GA, son, James R. Parker and daughter-in-law, Frances, of Columbus, GA, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
