Grace Elizabeth Steverson, 85, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, November 7, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, November 11, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2021 at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Riverdale Cemetery following the service.
Grace was born September 15, 1936 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Ben Hutto and Montine Adams Hutto. She was the owner and operator of R and S Pump Services. She loved to cook, garden, watch the Cleveland Browns play football and NASCAR. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Jackson Steverson, children, Susan Smith, Rhonda Kessler, siblings, Alice Joyner, Thomas Hutto and Edna Wright.
She is survived by her children, Donna Neal (William) of Columbus, GA, Ronnie Livengood of Columbus, GA, brother-in-law, Bo Joyner, sister-in-law, Jamie Hutto, 8 grandchildren including Jackie Fury who was like a daughter to Grace and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
