Gordon Troy Taylor, 51, died February, 18, 2017 at his residence. It's with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend.
A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Gordon Taylor will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, with Reverend Jim Albright officiating. The family will receive friends following the service, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Gordon loved College Football and most importantly the "Auburn Tigers". He was a kind, good hearted and loving soul that has gone on to be with God. He will be preparing a place in Heaven for the rest of his family and friends for the years to come. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
Mr. Taylor was predeceased in death by Stepfather Orestes Martin and Brother Frankie Martin.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his Mother, Doris Taylor of Columbus, GA; Father, James Taylor (Angie) of Washington State.; Siblings, Debra Bailey (John) of Columbus, GA, Terry Taylor (Regina) of Glasgow, KY, Matthew Taylor of Washington State, Garreth Taylor of Washington State, Julia Stephens (Chuck) of Fairhope, AL, Carlos Martin of Columbus, GA, Mary Fernandez (Rene) Miami, FL, Phillip Martin of Columbus, GA, Martha Martin of Atlanta, GA; Nieces and Nephews, Cheryl Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, James Jackson, Jr. of Valdosta, GA, Joshua Jackson of Jacksonville, FL, Collin Bailey of Columbus, GA, Anna Bailey of Columbus, GA and Ashton Bailey of Columbus, GA.
