Gloria Weed Curlee, 76, of Phenix City, AL died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Judy Hay officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Curlee was born March 4, 1936 in Mauk, GA daughter of the late Murray L. and Alma L. Duncan Weed. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Curlee and sister, Melba Roediger.
Survivors include her five sons, Walter Curlee, Jr. (Vicki), Jay M. Curlee , Kimberly D. Curlee all of Phenix City, AL, Christopher L. Curlee (Lee Anne) of Fortson, GA and Brent K. Curlee (Lorraine) of Phenix City, AL, sister, Rebecca Hunter (Irwin) of Saundersville, RI, brother-in-law, Carl Roediger of New Breman, OH, ten grandchildren, Dean L. Curlee, Jessica Wombles, Morgan Curlee, Brittany Curlee, Brandy Francisco, Julie Curlee, Ryan Curlee, Andrew Curlee, Russell Curlee, Jr. and Elizabeth Curlee, and great grandson, Donald Ashton Champ Wombles.
