Gloria Eleanor Bush

Gloria Eleanor Bush, 80 passed away Monday, January 6, 2025 with her loving family by her side.

The family will have a remembrance service, 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. The entombment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907. Pallbearers will include Jim Malo, Clayton McClain, and Walter Thompson.

Gloria was born in Columbus, GA born December 21, 1944 to the late Dora Parks Foster and Julian Edgar Foster. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid yard sale shopper who simply could not pass up a brightly placed yard sale sign.

She is preceded in death by her late husband Robert Bush. For years you could see them up and down the road with their highly pampered furbabies, Winston the English bulldog and her girl Dee Dee the schnauzer. Both assuredly with tails wagging excited to greet her.

She is also preceded in death by her brothers George, Marvin and Gene Foster. She was the baby of the Foster clan and will always be remembered for her rascal ways. She grew up alongside some of her nieces and nephews who still love to share stories of her early year shenanigans. She never lost her rascally ways.

She is survived by her loving sister Mary Carden whom she deeply cherished to the very end. And many nieces and nephews.

She leaves behind for now “her girls”  ~ her most treasured gift. Lynda (James) Malo of Midland, GA and Rhonda (Jeff) McClain Fayetteville GA . Her grandchildren Clayton (Tiffani) and Kyle McClain of Ft. Campbell Ky to whom she was ninja grandma and two great-grandchildren, her adoring grand furbabies Jake and Luna Malo and Salem and Cooper McClain who were always underfoot.
