Glennie Marie Lunsford, 86 of Columbus died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. A private Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will recieve friends Friday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Lunsford was born March 27, 1926 in Crenshaw County, Alabama. daughter of the late George E. and Minnie Lee Nelson Godwin. She had worked as a bookkeeper with Gordy Construction and was a member of Beaver Dam Primitive Baptist Church in Coffee County, AL.
Mrs. Lunsford was preceded in death by her husband Osiel Lunsford, two children, Cathy Morris and Nathan Lunsford and a grandson, Drew Wilbanks.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Keith Lunsford (KiKi) Brian Wilbanks (Allison) all of Columbus, GA. and Michelle Lunsford of Midland, GA.; 9 great grandchildren, Amanda, Caitlin, Caroline, Wheeler, Braun, Dane, Nathan, Savannah and Danielle; 6 great great grandchildren, Lily, Junior, Zoe, Shean, Ava, and Liam.
